Head to the project page, enter your pledge amount, and pick the reward tier that matches. Once it's confirmed, pay through any of the platform's supported payment methods. Your money goes into a third-party escrow account and is settled under the platform's rules once the project succeeds.

When you pledge, your payment provider simply places a pre-authorization hold on your card. You're only charged for real if the project hits its goal; only then does the money move into the third-party escrow account. If the project falls short, the hold is released automatically — nothing ever leaves your account. You won't pay anything extra (payment processing charges, if any, follow the payment provider's own rules).
